Double-Wall Corrugated
Double wall boxes are made out of two facings, two corrugated medium and an inner in between to give five papers in total. The most common type is BC, which consists of one B-flute and one C-flute.
To obtain an even stronger box, seven layers of paper can be used where three layers are flutes. These triple wall boxes are named according to the same system as double wall for example BCB.
Important is to remember that it is not just the number of flutes that affect the strength of the packaging, paper quality and thickness is also essential parameters. Nefab will find the best solution to meet the customer requirements.

Slotted boxes
The most common way to transform a sheet of corrugated cardboard into a box is to cut away material and create an indentation for the fold. The top flaps meet in the center and can be taped, glued or stapled to close. As an alternative, the flaps can meet the opposite side of the long panels, resulting in a stronger box that can withstand heavy objects or rough handlings.
Die-cut boxes
By die-cut technique, special sizes and a high degree of customization can be achieved. This process ensures a higher degree of accuracy in size and consistency and allows for almost any shape or style of box to be manufactured.
Die cut boxes can be made self-locking, which means that there are no requirements for glue, tape, staples or any other closing method.
Both for slot and die-cut boxes, Nefab can provide flexo printed packaging to create a high quality image.
Edgeboard
Edgeboard consists of several laminated layers of strong paperboard. High quality reusable carton board is glued together under high pressure to produce a highly, stable, profile element. It has good resistance to pressure and shocks, easy to assemble. Low weight and completely recyclable.
